Rishi is currently in his third year in the Translational and Molecular Medicine program. He started this club in his high school and continued sharing his passion for science and health with others by co-founding uOttawa HOSA in his first year. He has participated in Biomedical Debate for three years, advancing to ILC all three times and winning first place in 2017 and 2018.









​Keshav is a 3rd year Translational and Molecular Medicine student at uOttawa. As co-founder of uOttawa HOSA, he hopes to share his love for competition and healthcare to students all across the university. Equipped with success at both the national and international stage, Keshav is excited for this year of uOttawa HOSA and can't wait to lead uOttawa HOSA to even more success.​

​​Ricky is a first year student in Biomedical Science. He has competed at HOSA for the last two years in the Medical Terminology category. Ricky believes that HOSA is a great opportunity to learn about the numerous fields in science and lets you challenge yourself in these fields through competition.

Emma is currently in her second year of health sciences. In her first year, she competed in the medical terminology event at SLC, and is excited for her second year to do public health! Emma has a passion for the health field and competition, and hopes to be able to transmit that passion to students at uOttawa through our social media accounts.

Shruthi is a second year Biomedical Science student at uOttawa. Having been a uOttawa HOSA member for the past year, she enjoys meeting people with similar interests, as well as enhancing her knowledge in fields she is passionate about through competition. As a second year representative, Shruthi hopes to spread this experience and gather more students to compete with uOttawa HOSA and to bring home many more victories!

Dilpreet is currently in her 3rd year of Health Sciences and has been competing in HOSA since her first year. HOSA not only provides a challenge but also enhances skills that are not normally taught in regular university courses. This is why she is a strong advocate and encourages everyone to join HOSA to make new friends and challenge yourself while competing in an event that interests you.

​​​​ Graham, unlike some of the other members on the executive team, is going into his third year studying Political Science. HOSA’s for everyone with a passion for healthcare, and as VP Internal he will be working with the executive team to ensure every part of the club is at its best. Looking forward to a great year!

Meghna Thakur is in her third year of Health Sciences at the University of Ottawa and has been part of HOSA for two years. She is the current VP Graphic Design and has previously participated in Forensic Science and Medical math. She joined HOSA to help gain exposure to the variety of fields of science and decided to join the executive team to help others discover everything that the field of healthcare has to offer.

Olivier is a third year undergraduate student in translational and molecular medicine. After Olivier started HOSA at his high school, he went on to start the University of Ottawa HOSA club with the two other co-presidents. Together they strive to help as many students as possible prepare, compete, and become engaged in various healthcare oriented events.

Franck is in his third year of biomedical sciences with biostatistic option (CO-OP) in the French stream. He is passionate about helping others find out their role and passion within the field of healthcare. He is interested in the private sector of medicine, as well as the implementation of technology to optimize patient treatment. Outside of HOSA, he loves fitness & physical therapy methods!

Gurvir Rai is in his third year of Biomedical Sciences and is pursuing a minor in psychology. He enjoys designing graphics and videos for the club. Some of his work includes the HOSA uOttawa logo and team clothing. Last year, he participated in the Forensic Medicine event.





Bisma is in her third year in Health Science (French Immersion)! This is her third year as a HOSA member at uOttawa and she was also part of HOSA in high-school. She’s participated in a variety of events; Medical Terminology, Forensic Medicine, and CPR and First Aid! As the head trainer, she wants to make sure participants feel as prepared as they can be for SLC!

Raksha is a first year health science student. She joined HOSA to develop effective leadership qualities, build self-confidence, create social networks and expand communication and teamwork skills!

Victoria is currently in second year doing biomedical sciences. Her experience with HOSA has developed her as a person and her interest and knowledge on medicine has grown since then. As a second year rep for HOSA uOttawa, she wants to bring together curious individuals along with their competitive nature for science to shine in their events. She believes that it will be a great journey full with unpredictable experiences and that you should definitely not miss out on this one!




 
Jahnusha, in her third year of Health Science, minoring in Music has been part of HOSA from the first year it started at uOttawa. Participating in the Pharmacology sector, she moved on to compete in ILC where she placed 9th in 2017. As Marketing Exec, wishes to help spread the word about this interactive and engaging competition.
